On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a great pleasure to announce the 2nd International Congress of Advanced Medical Engineering (I-CAME2025）with Special 70th Celebration will be held on 25-27 June 2025 in Fuyue Hotel Shanghai, Songjiang, Shanghai, China. International Congress of Advanced Medical Engineering (I-CAME）was initiated by Prof. Teoh Swee Hin in 2023, The 1st International Congress of Advanced Medical Engineering was held in Changsha, China, this year we will hold the 2nd International Congress of Advanced Medical Engineering in Shanghai with a special 70 birthday celebration.

In celebration of Prof Zhang RuiXing 70th Birthday there will be ZRX-Entrepreneurship Awards to young presenters (below 40 yrs old) who are encouraged to make competitive poster presentations of their innovative ideas. Attractive prices will be given to the top 3.

Many advanced engineering and biomaterials ranging from biological to synthetic ones have emerged. With the advancement of tissue and organ engineering, medical therapeutics and devices have reached the clinic with remarkable results. Understanding the host tissue response from clinical perspective to biomaterials, biochemistry, molecular medicine, mechanobiology and surface topographical cues to electromagnetic influences have open numerous new areas of study and understanding. The advent of advance laser and 3D additive manufacturing have open up new possibilities in medical manufacturing and regenerative medicine. 3D additive manufacturing have open up new possibilities in medical manufacturing. The aim of this conference is to bring an interdisciplinary platform of scientists, engineers, and clinicians to help accelerate the translational breakthroughs in patients' health and well-being. Topics in biomaterials, stem cell biology, bioreactor and 3D scaffolds technology, decellularized tissue, advances in surgical techniques are just some of the few that the Conference hopes to do. Finally, clinical needs and regulatory requirements are key determinants for market acceptance.

 

The Conference will be held in an international metropolis, Shanghai, which is the biggest city in China and the economic and financial center of China. The Conference Venue Fuyue Hotel Shanghai is deluxe five-star hotel located in Songjiang University Town, one of the education center in Shanghai. 

We hope that this Conference will let all the attenders to communicate each other and to promote the scientific research and related applications on biomaterials and medical device.

 

I-CAME 2025 will be different as we hope to organise some sight seeing tours to the famous Huangshan mountain and the surrounding ancient villages.
